What is Competency Based Assessment (CBA)?

Competency Based
Assessment is the process by which your driving skills are assessed
whilst you are being trained by a Dudley's Riverina Learn to Drive Trainer/Assessor.
When you demonstrate that you can
perform the skills required (called competencies) our Trainer/Assessor
will mark these off in your CBA log book. Once you have completed all
the competencies, you are issued with a licence. No R.T.A Driving Test required.

Assessing is done when you are ready, so you proceed at your own pace.

No RTA driving test or fee required.

Truck hire fee for a driving test does not apply

Training and assessment can be arranged at times to suit you.

Certificates of Completion are issued on all Dudley's Riverina Learn to Drive courses (helpful when seeking employment).
What is your First Step?
You
must attend an RTA office and pass a knowledge test for the type of
vehicle you require (make sure you have your current licence). When you
pass the knowledge test request the following:
1. The Heavy Vehicle CBA Log Book (A small fee is charged).
2. Guide to Heavy Vehicle CBA.

convenient time and day to commence your training. Training is
available from 7.00am to 7.00pm. Monday to Saturday.
