Heavy Combination Licence (HC)

Any semi trailer or rigid vehicle towing a trailer with a GVM of more than 9t and vehicles in HR.

Assessment Methods:

Option 1

Competency Based Training and Assessment
Approximately 6-8 hours (driving instruction and test).

Option 2

Driving lessons with instructor and use of semi-trailer for RTA Driving Test

Prerequisites:

Hold a class MR or HR licence for 1 year.

Pass RTA Knowledge Test.
